Born and raised on the Canadian prairies, Aaron Leighton attended the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, graduating with distinction in 1995. Since then, his work has appeared in books, magazines, advertising, animation and apps, and has been recognized by both American Illustration and Applied Arts. Additionally, Aaron has published two books with Koyama Press, contributes as a writer for UPPERCASE magazine, is one-third of the Trio Magnus art collective, and has had his work exhibited globally in various group shows and published in multiple books. He lives in the forest and spends his free time chatting with bugs and birds.
